My new shop!
So I've decided to expand a little bit and try out Artfire.com . So far it is a great site to be a part of!! For those of you who are not familiar with Artfire, it is a great site to buy and sell handmade items. For sellers, it is free to list up to 10 items at a time. If you become a paid member, you can list and unlimited number of items with no listing fees and from what I understand, no commision fees either!! It also have many other great ways to track your site traffic when you become a paid member. Leave me a comment if you would like more info on Artfire! It's a great way for someone small to start out!! So, come check it out and feel free to leave some comments!! http://jenspens.artfire.com
By the way, I still have my Etsy shop as well! http://jenspens.etsy.com
I planning on picking up my featured seller posts and it will be from both Etsy and Artfire, so check back soon to see if it's you!!

I'm back!
So, I haven't been on in a while. A lot has been happening and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I started a new job that is allowing me to spend more time with my family and also more time to create things for my etsy shop. I will soon be listing pencils to go with my pens and I have recently added keychains to the mix. I have quite a few listed so far with a good variety. With Christmas and the Holidays coming up, there are tons of great ideas in not only my shop, but many others as well. Here are just a few of the new items I have listed. The first one os one of my favorite keychains. The far pic is a pen that I made with a Bass fish on the clip. It would make a great gift for any fisherman or fisherwoman! Remember that anything can be custom made if you're interested. I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving!!

Two New Featured Shops!
I know it's been a couple of weeks since I posted some Etsy shops. But I'm picking it up again and will be posting more soon as well!!
My first pick for this week is a shop that is kind of a veteran. Moondogtreasures has been open since September 2007. Congrats on your 1 year anniversary with Etsy!! Come and check out her shop! She is donating 50% of her "like, wow, yoga jewelry" sales to the charities of the Global Mala. Please stop by and help out a great cause! I am posting a couple of pics from her shop! You can also visit her blog!
The second shop I'd like to feature this week is ArtWhims. This is a relatively new shop with many greeting cards and photography. There is lots to choose from! Her greeting cards are very unique and great for many different occasions! Come check it out and support our handcrafters!!
So please visit the shops I have featured today and in past posts! Now is a great time to start your Christmas shopping and give the unique gift of handmade items! You can find something for everyone!!

Finally Busy!!
I really feel bad that I have not been able to post lately! I've been really busy with creating for my etsy shop (and I'm not complaining about that!) and of course that full time job that always gets me down. Hopfully soon, etsy will be able to help me get out of that! I'm working on getting some great shops to feature and help out our community. There have been quite a few charity events happening lately, so I'm thinking of featuring shops that are willing to donate some or all of thier profits from sales to a local, or national charity! If you or anyone you know would like to do this, just leave a comment and I'll get to posting!! Please join me in helping!

A New Start
Hi! I just want my first post to be in introduction. My name is Jenni and I started woodworking about 3 years ago. It's something that I enjoy and hope to keep doing for many years. I just recently started making pens. I needed somewhere that I could sell my pens. I had tried e-bay but found that I was paying more in fees than what I felt was a fair price. Someone in a woodworking forum suggested Etsy and I never turned back! I haven't been on etsy long, but my experience has been wonderful! The community is great and always willing to help the newbie. With that said. I would like to show off some of my items as well as some of my fellow crafters and artists. Please feel free to take a look and support our handcrafters!! I know this blog looks pretty plain now, but keep checking back and you will see it grow!! |
